When to come to Prague

Prague is beautiful at any time of the year. It is therefore better to come at a time when there are less tourists, when there is more room in hotels, restaurants, and sites of interest – and when prices for accommodation and other services are lower, because many hotels offer reductions during off-season periods. It is advisable if possible to avoid the months of May and September and also Easter and Christmas, when it is very difficult to find a good hotel at a reasonable price. At these times, too, all the places of interest are overflowing with tourists, which prevents you from appreciating their unique atmosphere. If you still decide to come during the busy periods, make sure you reserve your accommodation well in advance.
